1st Digital Pakistan Conference 2020

It is a pleasure for Center for Information & Communication Technology, Institute of Business Administration (IBA CICT) to participate in 1st Digital Pakistan Conference 2020 as Academic Strategic Partner along with AMFCO Technologies.

The Digital Pakistan Policy charted by the government of Pakistan seems quite promising for the socio-economic growth of Pakistan which is based on the 5 main pillars i.e. Access & Connectivity, Digital Infrastructure, eGovernment, Digital Skilling & Training and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

However, it is not only the government’s job, but also of other stakeholders such as corporate sector and academia that they should come forward and support this cause. In this instance, it is need of the hour to come up with such a platform which can create digital awakening across the nation and make it absorb the change driven by new technologies.

This conference which is going to held on 15th April 2020 is a step in the same direction as it aspires to provide industry professionals a platform where they will be sharing ideas and working collectively to reach a common goal that is to improve common man’s life by ensuring availability of accessible, affordable, reliable, universal and high-quality ICT services.

IBA CICT’s role, in this matter, is critically important as we’ll be arranging panelists, speakers, and delegates for the conference. At the end of the day, we’ll be providing recommendations to the government for the success of its Digitalization Agenda. Digital Pakistan Conference 2020 will prove to be the beginning of new era as we are also planning to participate in a number of other conferences as well which also focus on ways to sustain digitalization. We hope that the conference will be a success and will achieve the goal that we have in our minds that is the development of Pakistan backed by Information Technology.
